We have an assortment of DJ's from many various different styles of electronic music as well as several bands on our music roster.
DJ DRAGN'FLY
Over the past six years, Dragn'fly has quickly evolved into one of the most highly demanded and respected DJs to hail from the West Coast with over 700 appearances throughout the United States, as well as being featured internationally in Mexico, Brazil and Germany. As one of the few DJs to gain a successful following amongst underground and mainstream partiers alike, she is sure to rock any crowd and bring unique flavor to each appearance. Known as a "true journey DJ", DJ Dragn'fly couples a refreshing blend of progressively hard banging tech-trance with an "aggressive-as-hell" mixing style - a combination that has afforded her the ability to bring fanatic dancers to an orgasmic climax, leaving her audiences screaming for more!
Manatea
dj manatea's mission began at a free warehouse party called "transform" in k.c., mo. circa 1996.. starting off with 2 shit tables, a broken down mixer, and no clue of what to do any of it he began the drawn out cycle of teaching himself how to mix jungle.. after 2 years of mixing records and chillin in cleveland ohio manatea decided to start stepping into the world of promotion.. his first party was at a national rainbow gathering in allegehney national forrest located 2 hrs. north of pittsburgh, pa. after a year of throwing free gig's at outdoor jam band festivals and on a farm in cleveland manatea was introduced to the national organization for the order of marajuana laws.. interested in what n.o.r.m.l. stands for manatea quickly started talking to the organization about creating a non-profit record label to raise funds, help spread information, and help push the cause in any way a label could support.. 5 years later manatea was sponsored by n.o.r.m.l.'s main office out of washington d.c.. over the past 7 years manatea has helped coordinate over a hundred underground events located in places such as cleveland, omaha, denver, millwaukee, seattle, and numerous small towns and outdoor venues located in the middle of nowhere.. he is very dedicated to keeping his biznass in the family..
DJ Eff
You like it hard? Rough? Then this is your DJ. DJ Eff pours on the hard beats thick and keeps it coming. Playing a unique blend of Hard House, Hard Tekno and NRG mixed with a bit of turntablism, he relentlessly brings the dancefloor smashing sounds. On the production side of things, Eff is the live sound / studio guru and head engineer for the DJ4NORML record label. Strapped with an Audio Engineering degree and focusing on the legalization of marijuana, DJ Eff strives to spread awareness through music.
Miss Min.D
This "live as hell" hard house diva is known to bring some of the most gritty uk hard house and hardstyle to the decks. Hailing from Seattle, Miss Min.D adds a flavor all her own. Known to drop hot and steamy tracks in the mix, she brings a domineering feel to her sets. As a core member of DJ4NORML Miss Min.D is the accountant for DJ4NORML Records Seattle and is also the main Decor and Activities Director for all Northwest USA events.
Rebellion
Back in 1996 Rebellion (pronounced: rebel lion) pledged his allegiance to jungle drum & bass and has since then been on a lifetime musical journey thru it. Dj'ing for over 4 yrs now, he has constantly been evolving his radioshow, West Coast Pressure, on the world famous (the only live audio/videostreaming site in the United States) dnbtvDOTcom. Special past guests on the show every month for the last 1 1/2yrs ranged from local heavy hitters to world reknowned artists such as: Atlantic Connection | Capital J | Genr8 (Alliance) | Kubatko | Magnafide | MK-Ultra | Muad'Dib | Prophet | Stress Level | The Senator. With future projects working alongside fellow junglists, he has many artistic creations in the works for all to hear. Soul Slinger
Carlos Slinger a.k.a DJ Soul Slinger is a pioneer of electronic music. As the founder and creative head of the New York City-based Liquid Sky Music and Liquid Sky D-Sign, he was responsible for some of the most forward-thinking music and clothing to emerge from the New York City underground scene.(89-02) DJ Soul Slinger, a Brazillian native, has appeared around the world for audiences in venues ranging from small experimental underground clubs, to enormous raves in places like Kosovo, Japan, Brazil, and Germany. By the end of the 20th century, he had emerged as one of the most popular and sought after DJs in the world. At the beginning of the 21st, he stands as a leader in international musical innovation and global DJ culture. He began in the early 1990s spinning underground house and techno in the Liquid Sky basement and then the legendary Limelight . Soon he began using sped up break beats at early NASA(92) rave parties, and they quickly became integral parts of his DJ sets and production style; now renamed JUNGLE! Now, Soul Slingers Music is a singular blend of the Brazilian musical universe, hip-hop, drum and bass, illbient, Latin and more. He has worked and with a multitude of ground breaking artists including, Production and Remix for Afrika Bambaataa, Ali Khan, Elliot Sharp, Bill Laswell,Bernie worell (Funkadelic),Grand Master DST, Derek Bailey, William Burroughs, Ziggy Marley, Dee Lite, Arto Lindsay, Buckethead, DJ Disk, DJ Spooky, Air Liquide, Otto with Bebel Gilberto, Chico Science and Nacao Zumbi, Funk como le gusta, BID ,Cyro Batista,,Suba, Mestre Ambrosio,The Swirlies,and others.
Natty Ruler
Straight out of San Diego California, co-founder of the Original Criminal Element crew, Natty Ruler is no stranger to the world of Ragga Jungle. With several releases under his belt on DJ4NORML Records, Konkret Recordings, Criminal Element and Dubchambers Records, he continues to prove he is a staple in the Ragga movement. As a member of the Gonejahmen Crew he is a major force in the future of Ragga Jungle on the West coast. Slated for several releases in 2008 including one on DJ4NORML Records, you are gonna want to keep your eyes open for this kid!
Baby Demo
Baby Demo came to earth to mash down all the wickedness and iniquity that has consumed the world today. In the mid nineties he found his weapon, Ragga Jungle. After years of study, in the summer of 2004 he began manifesting choons. He wields the amen break like a fiery blade, striking at the heart of Babylon. He has continued to build alliances in the Ragga Jungle community, and does his part to educate the younglings. Keep your ears out for numerous releases on some familiar labels and new ones alike.
